Ableton Live Mode is available via the MX-1’s EXTERNAL MIXING MODE. In this mode, several aspects of Ableton Live can be controlled by the MX-1, including the ability to launch a clip or a scene, control over track settings and adjusting the send level.

3/26/2020 · Hi, I use Roland MX-1 with Ableton Live (on an macbook air. External Mixer mode) for more than a year a I have no luck in finding a troubleshot for a BIG problem: without any reason, the MX-1 stops outputting any sound (even external synths not just Ableton ’s output).
